A Dream Within a Dream

Here is a funny story! Enjoy!

A bachelor who lived at home with his mother and pet cat went on a trip to Europe. Before he left he told his best friend to inform him of any emergencies. A few days after his departure, his cat climbed up on the roof, fell off and was killed. His friend immediately wired him with the message: "Your cat is dead!"In a few hours he was back home, having cut short his trip in grief and anger at his friend, whom he told, "Why didn't you break the news to me gradually? You know how close I was to my cat! You could have sent a message 'Your cat climbed up on the roof today', and the next day you could've written, 'Your cat fell off the roof.' Then the next day, 'He is not doing very well,' and finally, 'I'm afraid your cat has passed away,' and let me down slowly that he died. Your bluntness showed a lack of consideration and compassion."After a quick memorial service, the bachelor left again to continue his trip. A few days later he returns to his hotel and there is a message waiting for him from his friend. He read, "Your mother climbed up on the roof today."

A wee bit of change

Allright, EVERYONE has to do this! It is sooo funny to do, even though it may not be as funny to someone else! I had a blast doing it!

...I have no school, no chores and both computers are taken! Just kidding! I "designed" dresses and did my sister and her friend's hair, then took a bunch of pictures. Here are some of the best ones.

So sorry, but...

Sorry! I haven't posted for like a whole week, but I have a good excuse. Last Wednesday(4th), we found out that my grandpa on my dad's side had died. We had gotten somewhat prepared because he had been struggling w/cancer for several years. So Thursday morning we got up at 4 am and drove 15 hours straight to get to Iowa(where both sets of grandparents live). The next afternoon/evening (Friday) was the visitation, which was quite interesting, since it was my first. The next morning (Saturday) was the fuenral service and the burial. We left the farm on Monday(9th), and got home on Tuesday. It was great to see all my cousins at the same time(at least on my dad's side), which had never happened before. Needless to say, we were wipped out when we got home. After that I had to get caught up with school, which I am thankfully finished with. So that is why I haven't been posting! Here are some pictures from the trip.

This morning, I woke up to a winter wonderland! We got like an inch and a half of beautiful white stuff. I haven't gone out yet, but I probably will soon to take pictures! (This one is not mine, though I think it is very magnificent!)
